At the heart of Africa,
A land of immeasurable beauty and diversity,
The call for peace resonates deeply.
Relentlessly, the African Union works to promote peace and unity across the entire continent.
In our commitment,
Let us always remember women with disabilities
Faced with the inability to anticipate and escape danger
In countries plagued by conflict.
Persons with reduced mobility,
They bear the heaviest toll of antagonisms.
In the midst of turmoil, their vulnerability intensifies,
Their voices are stifled.
But it is necessary for this to change.
The African Union recognizes the imperative of inclusive policies
addressing the needs of all people, including those with disabilities.
We can build a continent where everyone, regardless of their abilities,
Is given consideration.
To an Africa yearning for peace, security, and dignity.
Together, let us pave the way toward a future where every voice is heard and where peace is truly inclusive.
