Three things you can check for yourself.
We are the people this is about
CAMAB Women is run by blind and partially sighted women. Our statutes reserve the presidency for a woman with visual impairment and require women to hold at least 80% of the board at all times. Of the eight officers on record, seven are visually impaired, and there are no men in the Executive Bureau. This is not a policy we adopted later. It is the reason the association exists.
We are registered, and you can check it
CAMAB Women was registered on 26 November 2021 by the Senior Divisional Officer for Mfoundi, receipt N° 00000647, under law n° 90/053 of 19 December 1990. That is a state-issued instrument, which means you do not have to take our description of ourselves on trust.
We say what has not worked
Our own reporting records that the visibility of CAMAB Women has not yet extended into the ten regions of Cameroon, that the accessible-voting policy we argued for is not yet fully implemented, and that support promised to us has sometimes not arrived. We would rather publish that than a rounder number.

CAMAB Women opened its Braille and handicrafts centre at Nkolbisson, the outcome of a long advocacy with the Yaounde VII Council. Sightsavers and MINAS were thanked at the opening.
