Who we work with

How we describe our partners

We name each organisation by what it actually did with us. Only one has contributed money, and we say which one. We do not describe an organisation as a funder unless it funded us.

APASH Funder

The only organisation on record as having contributed money to CAMAB Women. Its contribution supported our work in Limbe.

Sightsavers Training and advice

Assisted us with training and advice, and describes it in exactly those terms rather than as funding. A partner at the opening of the CAMAB Centre in 2026, and host of the workshop that validated the civil society alternative report on the Sustainable Development Goals.

RDCOM Visibility

Accompanied us in ensuring the visibility of the association.

Yaoundé VII Council Institutional

The CAMAB Centre at Nkolbisson is the outcome of a long advocacy with the Council. It was credited at the inauguration on 7 May 2026.

MINAS Institutional

The Ministry of Social Affairs was credited at the CAMAB Centre inauguration.

Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services Delivery partner

Worked with us on the 2024 advocacy for inclusive sexual and reproductive health services, reaching service providers across five facilities.

World Blind Union Network

Sponsored CAMAB's participation in Cairo in December 2022, where we raised implementation of the Marrakesh Treaty.

African Union of the Blind (AFUB) Network

A membership network, never a funder. CAMAB's president chairs its women's committee, and chaired the committee's conference in Nairobi in July 2022.

RAFCAM Co-founded by CAMAB

A Yaoundé network of disability associations, which CAMAB Women co-founded.

FAIRMED Host

Hosted the 2024 training for organisations of persons with disabilities at Magba, where CAMAB facilitated two of the nine modules.

HSUVI, Bamenda Host

Hosted the 2023 livelihoods workshop at Mile 4 Nkwen, where eleven women with visual impairment trained in rope-weaving and kernel-oil production.

UNDP, ELECAM and the African Disability Alliance Convenors

Convened the 2026 events on disability inclusion in electoral processes, in Yaoundé and in Dakar.

Also convened, hosted or co-participated with

PROMHANDICAM, the Platform for an Inclusive Society, MINPROFF and CONRHA. Working alongside an organisation is not the same as being funded by it, and we do not present it as such.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Organisations we have worked with

Each of these has trained us, hosted us, convened a meeting we took part in, or worked alongside us on a specific piece of work. We name them so that our record can be checked. It is not a claim that any of them funds or endorses us.
